Founded as The Ealing Corporation in 1961, the company has provided optical and opto-mechanical products for Research, OEM and Industrial applications. The company originated near Harvard University and was based in Cambridge, Massachusetts for many years until moving to South Natick, Massachusetts. From the early days the company created a series of teaching catalogs that sought to educate and promote the products of the company.

With the foundation of the European representative Ealing UG in Rodgau, close to Frankfurt am Main in the beginning of 2016, another milestone was reached to make the catalogue internationally accessible. Ealing UG aims to further develop the traditional brand and to expand the international market position by trend-setting new products and developments.
